In the last few years there has been a proliferation in the amount of people producing really good techno, acid, minimal and everything in between. The majority of these producers are new, but Robert Babicz (aka Rob Acid) is an example of an older producer that has managed to stay relevant by reinventing his sound (to some extent).

After following the seemingly amazingly familiar UK path of electro/hip hop/acid house/techno it has now been nearly 18 years since Paul Mac started dj’ing and he has been producing for nearly 10, having recorded for over 30 labels and with nearly 100 release’s to his name it’s probably faire to call him a veteran of the scene.
Rico Henschel(Sweet N Candy) was born in Berlin in 1980 and at the end of this eventful first decade of his existence his hometown was infested by a musical revolution – the first Loveparade. Infected by this event he bought his first 12” records at the tender age of 13 and dabbled in being a DJ at the old gramophone of his parents.
